プログラムの目的

小学校の先生方が、英語力に自信を持って教壇に立てる、発音に自信が持てる、簡単な英会話ができる。これらを目的に、効果的な英語の使い方、教室で使う英語、英語の知識などを学びます。クラスは初級・中級の２クラス編成で、初回に希望をお聞きした上で、クラス編成を行います。
第１回から第１５回まで、各セッション毎に「基本的な会話英語（basic conversational English）」と、「教室で教え、児童とふれあうために必要な英語（English that teachers need in the classroom to teach and interact with their learners）」を繰り返し、学習し、練習していきます。

講習内容

（１）自己紹介

Introducing yourself.

（２）自分自身のことを話す。他人の特徴を述べる

Talking about yourself. Describing other people.

（３）英語の授業の始め方と終わり方の練習

Practice starting and ending an English lesson.
Is it sunny? How are you?

（４）毎日あるいは毎週、決まってしていることを話す

Describing daily and weekly routines.

（５）タスク活動をしている間にジェスチャー、パントマイム、トークを同時に練習する。

Practice gesturing, miming and speaking at the same time during a task.
What am I doing? Come here, please.

（６）ある物とある物の位置関係を説明する

Describing places and giving the location of things.

（７）「聞いて絵を描く」活動の練習

Practice ‘listen and draw’ tasks.
Okay draw a dog next to the house. Is it a big dog?

（８）指示を仰ぎ、指示を与える

Asking for and Giving directions.

（９）「聞いて動く」活動の練習

Practice ‘listen and do’ tasks.
Go straight. Look left.

（10）週末や休暇の情報を聞いたり話したりする

Asking for and giving information about weekends and vacations.

（11）復習と新出単語の導入

Practice reviewing and introducing new vocabulary.

（12）思い出について語り合う

Asking for and giving information about past memories.

（13）教師、生徒間の「フリートーキング」

Practicing ‘Freer Speaking’ between teacher and student.

（14）将来の計画について話す

Talking about plans for the future.

（15）「スキャフォールディング」と「フリートーキング」を体験する

The ‘scaffolding’ and ‘freer speaking’ challenge!
