This afternoon (December 13th) at  1:30 PM, the junior high school second grade international class met up with students from Sehwa Junior High School (世和女子中学校) in South Korea for an online event.

The theme this time was ‘Introducing Music from Our Countries’.

11 students (4 groups) from Shoin participated, while 27 from Sehwa Junior High School joined the event.

After a brief greeting from Shoin’s principal, we got under way with presentations and music introductions.

The Shoin students introduced Aimyon, Mrs. GREEN Apple, Aiko, and Back Number, while Sehwa’s groups talked to us about a number of Korean singers and groups, including Black Pink and AKMU.

Overall, the event was great fun and we all had the chance to talk about and listen to some of our favorite musicians.

Many thanks to the students for preparing so well, as well as the teachers that came to observe and those who helped organize the event.
