In late December 2023, a group of six students and four teachers visited the Shotokukan. The purpose of this visit was to learn about the building’s history, how it was built, and how it has been used. This information would then be used to prepare short presentations to share with our sister school in Taiwan – Shoko Girl’s High School.

We were lucky on this day to have a very knowledgeable guide show us around and tell us all about this special building.

On January 24th, we met online with a group of students from Taiwan. During the presentation event Shoin students spoke about the building’s history, its construction, and how it gets used.

In turn, we listened to some wonderful presentations from the Shoko students. They spoke about some culturally significant buildings in their country.

Overall, it was another successful and fun online event. This was absolutely due to the efforts put in by students in both countries.

2023年12月下旬、生徒6人と教師4人のグループが樟徳館を訪れました。 今回の訪問の目的は、この建物の歴史、どのように建てられ、どのように使われてきたのかを学ぶことでした。 この情報は、台湾の姉妹校である曙光女子高等学校と交流するための短いプレゼンテーションの準備に使用されました。

この日は幸運なことに、非常に知識豊富なガイドが私たちを案内し、この特別な建物についてすべて教えてくれました。

1月24日、私たちは台湾からの学生グループとオンラインで会いました。 プレゼンテーションイベントでは、樟蔭の学生たちが建物の歴史、構造、使い方などについて話しました。

続いて、曙光生の素晴らしいプレゼンテーションを聞きました。 彼らは自国の文化的に重要な建物について話しました。

全体として、今回も成功した楽しいオンライン イベントでした。 これは間違いなく両国の学生たちの努力の賜物です。
