生成AIが拓く、教育の未来 〜樟蔭中学校・高等学校教員研修報告〜

2025年2月14日樟蔭中学校・高等学校では、リクルートのスタディサプリ「情報Ⅰ」の講師であり、青山学院大学・青山学院中学校の安藤昇先生をお招きし、生成AIに関する教員研修を実施いたしました。

人工知能（AI）の進化は、私たちの想像を遥かに超え、社会のあらゆる分野に革新をもたらしています。教育現場においても、AIの活用は避けて通れない喫緊の課題です。今回の研修では、最新のAI技術がもたらす可能性と教育現場での具体的な活用方法について、深く学びました。

AIが変える教育の姿

安藤先生は、AIの最新動向として、特に生成AIの能力に焦点を当てて解説されました。生成AIは、文章、画像、音楽など、多様なコンテンツを生成する能力を持ち、その精度と創造性は日々進化しています。

研修では、実際に生成AIを活用した例の紹介が行われました。例えば、生徒の習熟度に合わせてカスタマイズされた教材の自動生成や、個々の生徒の興味・関心に基づいた学習プランの提案などが紹介されました。これらの技術は、教育の個別最適化を促進し、生徒一人ひとりの可能性を最大限に引き出すために役立つと考えられます。

また、AIは教師の働き方改革にも貢献する可能性を秘めています。例えば、煩雑な事務作業の自動化や、生徒の学習データの分析による指導改善などが期待されます。教師がより創造的で人間らしい教育活動に専念できるよう、AIは強力なサポートツールとなるでしょう。

教育現場でのAI活用に向けて

今回の研修を通して、AI技術が教育にもたらす可能性を強く感じました。しかし、AIを教育現場に導入するにあたっては、様々な課題も存在します。

最も重要なのは、AIを「道具」として捉え、どのように教育的価値を高めるかという視点を持つことです。AIはあくまでも教師のサポート役であり、教育の中心は常に人間です。教師は、AIを活用しながらも、生徒との人間的なつながりを大切にし、創造性や批判的思考力、倫理観などを育む教育を実践する必要があります。

また、AI教育に関する教師のスキルアップも不可欠です。AI技術の基礎知識や、教育現場での活用方法に関する研修を充実させる等、教師が自信を持ってAIを活用できるよう支援する必要があります。

樟蔭中学校・高等学校の挑戦

樟蔭中学校・高等学校では、今回の研修を機に、AI技術の教育現場への導入を本格的に研究していきます。まずは、AI教材の試用や、AIを活用した授業の試行などを通して、AIの可能性と課題を検証していきます。

そして、得られた知見をもとに、本校ならではのAI教育のあり方を模索し、生徒たちの未来を拓く教育を創造していきます。

今回の研修は、私たち教師にとって、AI時代の教育について深く考える貴重な機会となりました。AI技術の進化は、教育に大きな変革をもたらすでしょう。しかし、どのような時代になっても、教育の本質は変わりません。私たちは、AIを賢く活用しながらも、高い知性と豊かな情操を育む教育を追求し、生徒たちの未来を全力でサポートしていきます。

Principal’s Blog February 28^th 2025. AI technology – the future of education.

(Report on training course held for Shoin teachers).

On February 14^th 2025, we invited Mr. Noboru Ando of Aoyama Gakuin University to give a seminar about the uses of AI technology to the teachers of Shoin junior high and high school.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has advanced far greater than I had imagined and has already begun to innovate various sectors of society. In the field of education, it has become a pressing issue that cannot be avoided. In the seminar presented by Mr. Ando, we learned of the possibilities presented by the latest AI technology, and how to apply it specifically in education.

How AI will change the shape of education

Mr. Ando explained about the latest trends in AI, focusing on its unique abilities. It can create written text, movies and images, along with music and a variety of other contents, and its accuracy and creative powers are evolving every day.

During the seminar, various examples were given of how to make use of AI technology. For example, educational movies customized to the student’s level of proficiency, and lesson plans based on student’s individual interests. This technology is thought to optimize education by promoting and eliciting students’ maximum potential.

Furthermore, AI can contribute to the improvement of the role played by teachers. For example, it can complete complex administrative tasks automatically and can analyze student’s data leading to improved guidance and tuition. It is surely a powerful and human-like tool, helping teachers become more creative inside and outside the classroom.

Moving towards the application of AI in education.

Through this seminar, we felt the true power of AI’s potential in the field of education. Although, a number of issues arise when considering the introduction of AI in schools.

The most important thing to remember is that AI is never more than a “tool” to be used in the improvement of education by supporting the teacher. Humans should always be at the center of education. While using AI, teachers should cherish the “human” relationships with students while fostering their creativity, critical and ethical thinking.

Also, support on improving teachers’ knowledge of AI is essential so that teachers can have confidence and a basic understanding of how to make use of the technology in the field of education.

Shoin’s challenge

By making use of this seminar, Shoin junior high and high school have begun research into the full-scale introduction of AI technology into the classroom, initially verifying the potential of AI by sampling AI teaching materials and lessons using AI. Then using the knowledge and expertise gained, we aim to create education that will broaden student’s horizons.

This seminar provided a precious opportunity for us teachers to think deeply about the age of AI and the great transformation it will no doubt bring about in the field of education. However, whatever technology comes along, the essence of education will never change. By using AI wisely, we should support the future of our students to our utmost and pursue education that fosters intelligence and sensibility.
